About Us

Inspired to Meet a Need

Many have asked, "How did you think of FedTechCares?" In the fall of 2014, we helped put together a happy hour to raise funds for a charity in which we are heavily involved. We invited friends from industry and government...More than 100 people showed up, 36 agencies were represented, and in less than 2 hours, we raised over $10,000!

We realized that without someone reaching out and bringing folks together that night, this charity would never have had the opportunity to raise those funds or awareness. We co-founded FedTechCares.

We were inspired to create an engine that would help worthy causes gain attention and raise funds, while simultaneously driving collaboration between industry and government around current challenges that face us daily in the Federal IT community.

FedTechCares curates charities and cultivates sponsors to host events where Federal IT leaders with industry leaders and focus a  discussion around a topic. It could be a major program need, a hot industry topic, or new technology.

“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
